The App Management subkey contains entries that store the Group Policy settings which determine how programs run. The subkeys and entries in the Windows subkey are written and maintained by Group Policy, and are read and interpreted by the component that implements them.

Policy entries in the App Management subkey override default settings in the SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Management subkeys..
