Specifies the maximum number of hops (steps between subnets) a WINS multicast announcement is permitted to perform. If the multicast attempts to perform more hops than permitted by the value of this entry, WINS returns an ICMP Time Exceeded error.
To change the value of this entry, you can use the WINS console. Right-click the Replication Partners node, click Properties, and then click the Advanced tab. This entry corresponds to the Multicast Time to Live (TTL) box.
