Suppresses the Internet confirmation dialog box in Event Viewer. This dialog box reminds you that Event Viewer is sending event information over the Internet and requests your permission to proceed.

The Internet Confirmation dialog box appears in Event Viewer when you click an Internet link on the Properties dialog box for an event. It is designed to remind the user that potentially confidential information is being sent outside of their network.

Value Meaning
0 Suppress the Internet confirmation dialog box. Thereafter, Event Viewer sends the information over the Internet without consulting the user.
1 Displays confirmation dialog box.

Tip Image Tip

This entry corresponds to the "Don't ask me again (always send information)" check box. If you have inadvertently selected the check box, you can restore the confirmation dialog box by setting the value of this entry to 1 in the registry.
