Description

Determines the maximum number of objects that the Directory Migration Service Tool can discover in a NetWare Directory Services database before it alerts the user that the scope is too large for efficient discovery.

If the number of objects discovered exceeds the value of this entry, then the system displays a message explaining that the database is unusually large and is not practical to retrieve in a single discovery operation. The message recommends that the user stop the current discovery operation and divide the discovery operation into smaller units. The user can choose to proceed with the discovery operation, which might take a protracted period of time to complete, or to stop the operation.

Note

Windows 2000 does not add this entry to the registry. You can add it by editing the registry or by using a program that edits the registry.
