|Data type||Range||Default value|
|REG_DWORD||0x0 - 0xFFFFFFFF bytes||0x600000 (6 MB)|
Determines the size of the Log Manager file. The size of this file affects its maintenance and Message Queuing's performance. Message Queuing performs checkpoints (saves the current log entries) when the log file occupies more than half of the space allocated for it. If the value of this entry is too small, Message Queuing takes checkpoints too frequently, diminishing overall performance. If the file is too large, it consumes unnecessary disk space.
This entry does not appear in the registry unless you add it or use a program to change its default value.
Do not change the value of this entry. An inappropriate value can interfere with logging and with the operation of Message Queuing.
