MaxLinkDelay

HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer\Parameters

Data type Range Default value
REG_DWORD 0x0 - 0x100000 seconds 0x3C (60 seconds)

Description

Specifies the maximum time a connection can be delayed before the Server service disables raw I/O for the connection.

Raw I/O is an optimizing feature that permits the Server service to send unsegmented data across the network. Because raw I/O can cause delays, the service disables it in an attempt to resolve the delay.
