Description

The PermittedManagers subkey stores the names of hosts that are permitted to send requests to an SNMP agent.

The computer names of hosts are stored as entries in this subkey. Each entry represents a host that is a permitted manager. The name of the entry is an ordinal number that reflects the order in which you entered the host when you configured SNMP. The value of the entry is the host name. All entries have the REG_SZ data type.

For example, 1 REG_SZ Host01
In this example, the host, Host01, can send requests to an agent.

Change method

To change the value of this entry use the Services snap-in. Right-click SNMP Service, then click Properties.
