Description

The Driver Signing subkey in HKLM stores entries for the code signing feature of Windows 2000. The entries in this subkey apply to all users of the computer.

Microsoft digitally signs driver files to affirm that the driver software has been tested with Windows and has not been altered since it was tested by Microsoft.

The entries in this subkey apply to all users of the computer. The entries in the Driver Signing subkey in HKCU apply only to the current user.
