Specifies the locale selected by the current user. The locale ID identifies the geographic variation of the spoken language chosen by the user. The chosen locale determines the default values for all other regional preferences, such as how dates and times are formatted and the symbols that are used in currency.
To change the value of this entry, double-click Regional Options in Control Panel. Click the General tab, and then make a selection from the Your locale (location) drop-down list box.
