Description

Specifies the base name for the device objects created by the mouse class device driver.

Note Image Note

The device driver stores information about the device in a subkey of DEVICEMAP (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP) that has the same name as the value of this entry. The pointer class driver uses the DEVICEMAP subkey to locate the pointer port device objects.
