Description

Stores the path and file name of the Windows 2000 command interpreter, Cmd.exe. The command interpreter is analogous to MS-DOS Command.com.

Change method

To change the value of this entry, use System in Control Panel. Click the Advanced tab and then click Environment Variables. This entry appears in the System variables section.

Caution Image Caution

The data type of this entry must be REG_EXPAND_SZ. If a user or application changes the data type, the system will not replace the variable with its intended value.
