If you do not use Offline Vault there is no requirement for you to upgrade the Enterprise Vault 2007 Outlook Add-Ins. The existing Outlook Add-Ins are compatible with Enterprise Vault 8.0 SP4. The only limitation is that new client functionality is not available until you upgrade.

If you decide to upgrade the Outlook Add-Ins you can do so before or after you upgrade the Enterprise Vault servers.
