Users who are granted read-only database access can use
Ultrasound to monitor FRS and perform basic tasks that do not
require updating the database. When a user with read-only database
access runs Ultrasound, the console title bar shows [Read
Only] and the user can perform the following tasks:
View information in all tabs and dialog boxes.
Start the Ultrasound Help file.
View entries in the incident log.
Users with read-only database access cannot perform the
following tasks:
Make changes in the Configure Ultrasound dialog box,
including:
Adding or removing replica sets to monitor.
Changing reference members.
Installing, updating, and uninstalling providers.
Scheduling domain controller and provider polling.
