Start the Interix Korn shell

To start the Interix Korn shell

Using the Windows interface

Click Start, point to Programs, point to Windows Services for UNIX, and then click Interix Korn Shell.

Using a command line

At a command prompt, type:
ksh -l

Note

The -l option starts a login shell, which calls Korn shell login scripts. To view the complete syntax for this command, at the Korn shell prompt, type:

man ksh
