Interix commands and utilities

Interix commands and utilities are designed to be run from an Interix command shell or script. These utilities fall into two categories: utilities that execute MS-DOS commands and utilities, and utilities that work like standard UNIX utilities. You can also manage your computer using Windows-based Administrator utilities that you can run from a Windows command prompt or batch file.

For information about running Windows commands in an Interix command shell, see Running Windows commands and utilities in Interix.

The following lists the available Interix commands and utilities. Click a letter to see the names of commands and utilities beginning with that letter.
