As we’ve seen, the combination of a custom console with SMS object class and instance security can provide a high level of secure access to the SMS database. Achieving the correct balance of customization and security isn’t trivial and, like most aspects of SMS, requires a fair amount of planning. However, the result can be rewarding. Equally rewarding is the recovery of your site server in the event of a problem, as we’ll see in Chapter 18, “Disaster Recovery.”
