Directory, domains that are located in the namespace tree
directly above other derivative domain names (child domains).
The object that is the
immediate superior of another object in a hierarchy. A parent
object can have multiple subordinate or child objects.
A rule associated with an
object to regulate access to a particular object on the
network. For example, a user may have read and write access to a
file on the network.
An attribute of a Windows
network object. Examples include a user's password, groups to
which a user belongs, and a group's description.
