Adding an asset group variable

You can customize a questionnaire by adding a Control Compliance Suite (CCS) asset group as a variable. You can add the asset group variable to a user-defined property. An asset variable is used to store the temporary information that is used in the questionnaire. The user-defined property is created at the questionnaire level.

A variable has the following rules:

To add an asset variable to a questionnaire

  1. Click Add Question.

  2. In Add One Question per line, type a question with an asset variable, "%<ASSET_VARIABLE>".

  3. Select an Answer Template and click Single Choice.

  4. Select the questionnaire name. Select Properties.

  5. In Selected Object's Properties, in the User Defined section, click Add.

  6. In Create New User Defined Property, type a property name. The name must the same as the name in Step 2. The name does not have to be in upper case.

  7. Click Add.

  8. In DropDown Definition, type an option.

  9. Click OK.

    Repeat the step to add several options.

  10. Click OK.
