Open-ended question types

An open-ended question lets the attester answer the question in their own words. In the questionnaire, text boxes let the attester type their response.

The Response Assessment module has the following open-ended question types:

Text	An answer that contains one line of text	Please type your address
Memo	An answer that contains multiple lines of text	What is your opinion of the current procedure?

The following responses use the open-ended question design:

Personal information
Memory recall
Attitudes
Feelings
Opinions
Additional comments or recommendations

The open-ended question has the following disadvantages:

More time to complete
More effort to complete
May have a larger skip rate
Difficult to analyze
May require more time to analyze
