You can set up package properties as values that
are defined in the package, or enable them as administration
parameters. When the package is assigned to a managed Pocket PC,
the Site Administrator can set the appropriate values for each
administration parameter via the Symantec LiveState Delivery
Command Center.
1.
|
|
In the Add New/Edit Admin Parameter window, in
the Name box, type the name of the property.
|
2.
|
|
If you want to enable the property as an
administration parameter, under Admin parameter, check Enable as administration parameter.
|
If this option is disabled, the
property value will be set in the package and cannot be changed by
the Site Administrator when the package is being deployed to a
managed Pocket PC. Only the relevant boxes are displayed.
3.
|
|
If you have enabled the property as an
administration parameter and want to make it optional, check
Set as optional parameter.
|
When the package is being assigned to
a managed Pocket PC, the Site Administrator must set values for all
required administration parameters, but can skip the optional
parameters.

In the Value Type box, click on the drop-down
list and select one of the following:

|
Check Box
|
|
If the Data Type is Boolean, the
Display Type is automatically set to Check Box, and you cannot
change it.
If the display type is List Box or
Combo Box, you need to specify the available options.
6.
|
|
In the Value box, type the property
value.
|
If the property is enabled as an
administration parameter, this is the default value.

administration parameter.
