About boot media for HP-UX
HP-UX uses a binary
format that is different from ISO. The CD/DVD image file is a
binary image of the CD/DVD and does not contain an extension.
However, you can add an .iso extension
to the CD/DVD image if your CD/DVD writing software requires
it.
The CD/DVD recording programs that are known to
work for HP-UX images are as follows:
-
Sony CD/DVD Extreme. Add an .iso extension to the image file name and use the
Global Image or Other Image option from the File menu options.
-
Nero. Add an .iso
extension to the image file name, and use the Burn Image to Disk
option.
Note:
|
The
ROXIO Easy CD/DVD Creator recording program does not work for HP-UX
images.
