Restoring the media server

If you configured the alternate media server before the media server failed (which is most likely with the automatic failover method), the following occurs: the alternate media server is saved as a host in the original media server's BMR client configuration. Now you can perform a standard restore.

If you did not configure the NetBackup alternate media server before the failure, create and modify a restore configuration to use during the restore.
