In the Database field, select a database to administer.

The following information can display about the selected database:

•If the database is available, the screen shows Alive and well.

•If the database is unavailable, the screen shows Not available.

Click the Stop button to shut down the selected database.

Click the Start button to start the selected database.

The list of possible databases is derived from the vxdbms.conf file. The vxdbms.conf file is located in the directory specified in the bp.conf file or in the Windows registry parameter VXDBMS_NB_DATA.

The database must reside on the same computer where the NetBackup Database Administration console runs.
