General
|
Controls the amount of information that NetBackup writes to the
troubleshooting logs.
The level can be set to 0 (default), 1, or 2. The higher the
level, the more information that is written to the log.
|
Verbose
|
The level can be set from 0 (default) to 5 (maximum).
Use the default level of 0 unless advised otherwise by technical
support . Higher levels can cause the logs to accumulate large
amounts of information.
|
TCP
|
Enables TCP debugging. The level can be set as follows:
0 - No TCP/IP functions are logged (default)
1 - Logs basic TCP/IP functions
2 - Logs all TCP/IP functions, including all read and write
requests
3 - Logs the contents of each read and write buffer
Note:
|
TCP values of 2 or 3 can cause the status
reports to be large, and slow the performance of a backup or
restore operation.
|
|
Flush
|
Specifies how often NetBackup flushes the progress reports on
NetBackup operations (or writes the buffer to disk).
The level can be set to 0 (default), 1, or 2. The higher the
value, the more often the buffer is written to disk.
|
Database
|
Controls the amount of information that NetBackup Database
Extensions write to their log files.
The level can be set from 0 (default) to 9. The higher the
level, the more information is written.
