NetBackup Client Properties dialog box

Client properties determine how the client responds to backup, archive, and restore operations.

If user-directed operations are allowed in your NetBackup environment, you should not have to specify client properties before you perform backups, archives, and restores. The client properties were configured during the client software installation.

Note:

Most client properties settings should be changed only by a NetBackup administrator. Those client properties are identified in the Help for each tab of the NetBackup Client Properties dialog box. Changes to client properties settings can prevent backups, archives, and restores.

The NetBackup Client Properties dialog box contains several tabs with the properties that determine client response to back up, archive, and restore operations.
