Retrieving disaster recover file wizard screen

In the Retrieving Disaster Recover File screen NetBackup searches for the necessary media sources. The screen then informs you whether or not the necessary backup ID of the disaster recovery image was located.

The wizard lists the missing media which are needed to update the database.

Follow the wizard instructions to insert the indicated media. Run an inventory to update the NetBackup database.

The information that appears on this screen depends on whether the recovery is from a full backup or an incremental backup.

Note:

If an online, hot catalog backup policy included both full backups and incremental backups, the disaster recovery email can indicate either a full or an incremental backup for recovery. Recovering from an incremental backup completely recovers the entire catalog because it references information from the last full backup. It is not necessary to first recover the last full catalog backup, and then the subsequent incremental backups.
