Configuring FT properties for SAN clients

FT properties for SAN clients override the global FT properties for the SAN clients that are configured on the master server.

You can configure properties from two places in the NetBackup Administration Console, as follows:

Configure client FT properties only if you want to override the global properties for a specific client or specific clients.

The properties include the following:

When to use an FT connection
How long to wait for an available FT pipe before NetBackup uses a LAN connection
Whether to use the global FT properties for the SAN clients that are specified on the master server. By default, the global properties are used.
