Disk space – how to free up disk space

If a warning or notification about low hard disk space is displayed when downloading a file, for example, “There was a problem downloading the file because of low hard disk space”, you need to free up some space on your hard disk.

To free up hard disk space, do one of the following:

·        Delete any unwanted files on your disk. Make sure that you do not need the files.

·        Change the download Destination folder in the Settings dialog box to a location on another disk. If you do this, you will need to restart the download. See How do I change the location of where the file is downloaded to my computer? for more information.

·        Move files that you have already downloaded to a location on another disk.
