You can remove a package from a computer profile. The package is removed from the profile, but remains in the Configuration Database.
To remove a package from a profile
In the Scope pane, expand Computer Profiles.
Select the profile name in the Scope Pane and right-click the package in the Result pane you want to delete.
Click Delete.
In the confirmation dialog box, click Yes.
If you had set the computer profile to check for package dependencies, then you are notified if dependency conflicts are found with the package you are trying to remove.
