Modifying Computer Profiles

Expand Computer Profiles in the Scope pane.
Select a computer profile to display the contents in the Result pane.
In the Result pane, right-click one of the Disk Summary or Partitions/Formats button.
Click Configure Disks.
Modify, add, or delete hardware jobs in the Configure Drives dialog box.

The changes are reflected in the computer profile.

Expand Computer Profiles in the Scope pane.
Right-click the computer profile and select Edit Job Parameters to edit all the parameters in the profile.

To edit the parameters for a specific package in the profile, expand the Computer Profile, right-click the specific package, and select Edit Job Parameters.

The Set Parameters dialog box displays the packages tabs. Since not all packages have parameters, only packages with parameters appear in the dialog box.
Select each package tab and edit the desired parameter value. Double-click the cell in the Value column to display a drop down list of allowable values.
Click OK.

In the Scope pane, click Computer Profiles.
In the Result pane, right-click the profile name and choose Properties.
Type a new Display Name and/or a new Description in the appropriate fields.
Click the Check Dependencies checkbox to check for dependencies on the packages in the profile.

If package dependencies are found, you are prompted to add the required packages to the profile.

Click OK.

The changes are reflected in the computer profile.

When modifying package parameters you can modify parameters for a specific package or for all of the packages in a profile. You can also modify package parameters when you assign the profile to a computer. Settings you make when you assign the package override the parameter settings made when you added the package to the computer profile.
