You can control the automatic execution of package deployment by adjusting the Package Deployment settings in the Site Administration Properties dialog's Activities tab.

Cooperative Mode Computers

On Cooperative Mode computers you inform Symantec LiveState Delivery of the operating system that is already installed on the computer.  Therefore, you must install the Agent for Windows separately.

Note:  If the existing computer has Windows NT or Windows 2000 with NTFS formatting, you must have Server Administrator rights on the computer to install the Agent for Windows.

Consistent Mode Computers

When Symantec LiveState Delivery installs the operating system onto Consistent Mode computers, the Agent for Windows and other required packages are automatically installed.
