Symantec Image Delivery uses Microsoft Sysprep, Symantec Ghost, and Symantec DeployCenter to create and restore images on managed computers. To make all of these packages assignable in the Command Center you must meet all of the software requirements for them.
Symantec Image Delivery consists of seven packages.

Symantec Image Delivery Windows 2000 Class |
The Windows 2000 Class package is assigned to a computer that has been cloned with an image file of Windows 2000. It acts as a placeholder to indicate that the computer is installed with Windows 2000. |
Symantec Image Delivery Windows XP Class |
The Windows XP Class package is assigned to a computer that has been cloned with an image file of Windows XP. It acts as a placeholder to indicate that the computer is installed with Windows XP. |
Symantec Image Delivery Install Agent |
The Install Agent package installs the Symantec LiveState Agent for Windows. |
Each cloning package runs on the managed computer executing one or more of the following:
Microsoft Sysprep
Ghost.exe
PQImgCtr.exe
The placeholder packages are applied to a managed computer in place of any installation packages. If a computer is reset, then a cloning operation is executed, rather than a native install.
