Deploy.CAB contains all the files needed by Deployment Solution to prepare workstations to run Sysprep. In fact, if you were doing this all manually, you would need to open this file and use several of the utilities in it to be sure Sysprep runs correctly.
You will need to be sure the correct version(s) of this file is added to the eXpress share of Deployment Solution. If you have not already done so, find “Deploy.cab” from the source CD (either of Windows Server 2003 SP1 or Windows Server 2000 SP4). This file should then be placed as follows:
W2K3 SP1: <DS Install>\Sysprep\DotNet
W2K SP4: <DS Install>\Sysprep\2K.
If the source CD(s) for these are not available, you can download the files directly from Microsoft:
W2K3 SP1: 32-bit Deployment Tools – Once downloaded, this should be renamed to deploy.cab.
W2K SP4: Deployment Tools – You should execute this package to find deploy.cab
