Initiating a task from the command-line

You can initiate a task from the command-line in the Console server or in a client computer.

To initiate a task from the command-line

ngcons.exe /e taskname

To initiate a task from the client command-line or batch file

ngctw32.exe -initiate <taskname> [password]

You must include the task name in this command, and the password, if required. There is no notification if the task has succeeded or failed.
