2 - Log events in the Enterprise Vault Converters log. Converter events are logged here, all other Enterprise Vault events are logged in the Application log. Create the log, if necessary.

3 - (Default) Log events in the Enterprise Vault log and the Enterprise Vault Converters log. Create the log, if necessary.

Description

By default, Enterprise Vault logs all events to the Enterprise Vault event log, except for Converter events, which are logged in the Enterprise Vault Converter log. Critical events are always logged in the Application log, even when they are also logged in one of the other logs.

CustomEventLogging enables you to customize this logging behavior.

The logs are created, if necessary, during the installation of Enterprise Vault. If you want to prevent the creation of the new logs, set CustomEventLogging appropriately and then restart the server before installing Enterprise Vault.
