Each task processes its targets to a schedule that you define, looking for items that are ready to be archived. Any that meet the archiving criteria it then archives.
The default schedule is the one that you set in the Site properties. If you do not modify individual tasks they run according to the schedule in the Site settings.
This scheduling control sets the times for a single task. The times you set here override the Site settings for that one task.
In the case of Exchange Mailbox Tasks, this schedule does not affect the task's ability to respond to user requests to archive items. Archiving is always available to users.
Note: |
If you change any of these settings, you must stop and restart the task for the changes to take effect. |
