This File System Archiving task runs on the same Storage Service computer that manages the vault store, so that Storage Service computer must have a File System Archiving license.

When you clear , shortcuts that have already been created continue to work as normal. This setting merely prevents any new archiving from this volume.
Select when you want to start archiving again. The volume is then processed when the file server is processed.
. Select this if you want to be able to include data from this volume in FSA reports.
This option is not available unless you have enabled data collection for FSA Reporting on the file server.
. Select this if you want to use pass-through recall with this volume.
This option is applicable to NTFS file servers only. It is available only if you have configured pass-through recall on the tab of the file server's properties.
