Domino Desktop Policy: Vault Cache

Use the Vault Cache settings to control the availability of Vault Cache and the maximum size of Vault Cache.

Make Vault Cache available to users. Select this setting to make Vault Cache available in this Enterprise Vault site. If you clear this setting, no new Vault Caches are created. Users can access the existing Vault Caches but Enterprise Vault does not add items to those Vault Caches.

Automatically enable. Select this setting to enable Vault Cache automatically for all offline users.
Allow users to decide. Select this setting to allow users to enable Vault Cache by selecting Enterprise Vault Cache Options from the Tools menu.

Limit size of Vault Cache:

Use these settings to choose how to limit the size of the Vault Caches. If a Vault Cache reaches the specified size, the oldest items are automatically deleted to make room for new items. The space is not allocated until it is needed.

Maximum use of initial free space. Select this setting and specify a percentage to limit the maximum size of each Vault Cache to be a percentage of unused disk space at the time the Vault Cache is created.
Maximum size. Select this setting and specify a value to limit the maximum size for Vault Caches as a size in gigabytes.
