Configuring users/groups

Use the Settings utility's Users/Groups tab to provide the display name, domain name, LDAP path, and credentials to log on to the Active Directory domain for which you are establishing a connection for use with Asset Lifecycle Manager. You can then add users and groups from your Active Directory sources.

To add users or groups
  1. Click Tools > Settings and click the Users/Groups tab.
  2. Click Add.
  3. In the Template dialog, click the source you want to use and click OK.
  4. Enter the information for the source you chose. For Active Directory sources, click the Test button to make sure the information you entered is valid.
  5. Click OK.

NOTE: If the password for the authorized domain user is changed at some point, you will need to remember to return to this setting and provide the new password.
