If you disable a policy, the policy remains installed on the node, but does not function until it is enabled.
Optional. If another management server owns the policy on that node, a dialog box opens for confirmation. To disable the policy using this management server, click Yes. To do this, you must have the user right to ignore policy ownership. The management server that you are connected to must be a primary or secondary manager of the node.
If you click No, the management server still creates a job to disable the policy, but the job fails. You can restart the job with new options to ignore the policy owner, or cancel the job.
