By default, the management server starts a maximum of five
parallel deployment
jobs. In some cases, you may want to increase or reduce this
number:
If the management
server is too weak (for example, slow processor, not enough
RAM), then too many parallel jobs can produce an unacceptable load
on the server. In this case, reduce the maximum number of
jobs.
If the management server is very powerful and you want to
reduce the time required for mass operations such as policy
deployment, then increase the maximum number of jobs.
To change maximum parallel jobs
In the console tree, right-click Operations Manager, and
then click Configure
Server.... The Server Configuration dialog box appears.
Click Namespaces, and then click Policy Management
and Deployment. A list of values appears.
Change the value of Number of concurrent deployment
threads. The value should be between 5 and 10 in most
cases.
