A mobile computer is a CCM managed computer that is intermittently connected to a CCM configuration server. A mobile computer can be connected to the CCM server using any IP-based connection including a LAN or modem/ISDN (RAS) connection. When connected over a modem/ISDN connection, the mobile computer can download specially designed software packages that can be installed offline.
A mobile computer can be either a Consistent Mode computer or a Cooperative Mode computer. When you add a computer to the CCM database, you can set its Windows Agent package parameter to define it as a mobile computer.
