Partitioning Computers with NTFS

When incorporating a new CCM computer that has been formatted with NTFS, you must partition and format the computer with a FAT file system using CCM before installing an operating system on the computer.

After the operating system is installed, the computer can then be reformatted with NTFS using CCM, and applications can be installed on it.

If any pre-operating system work is required afterwards, for example, installing or upgrading the operating system, the computer will be reformatted with a FAT file system and then reformatted again as NTFS.
