CCM is delivered with packages for some computer operating system installations.
The System packages are located on the CCM V5.4 CD-ROM in the ccm/packages directory. The packages include server setup scripts, installation scripts, and description files for Microsoft Windows 95 OSR2.x, Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0 Workstation, Windows 2000 Professional, and Windows XP Professional operating systems.
Before you begin adding computers to a CCM server, you need to populate the CCM Package Depot and update the CCM Database. Use the CCM Package Import Tool to add the System packages provided on the CCM V5.4 CD-ROM, to the CCM Package Depot and CCM Database.
