Viewing Installed Packages

The installed packages area contains the following information about each package job.

Column

Displays

Package name

The long name for the package.

Version

The software version number.

Phase

Current step as the CCM Windows Agent processes the job. Steps are dependent on the type of software job. The phase executes the corresponding section of the package’s config.swp file.

Install Job

  • Done

Delete Job

  • Undefined

  • Pre-Remove

  • Remove

  • Post-Remove

Phase

Update Job

  • Undefined

  • Pre-Remove

  • Remove

  • Post-Install

  • Done

Phase

Substitute Job — These jobs are represented by two consecutive entries in the list box. The first entry displays the existing package with the Phase set to Done. The second entry is the new job that will replace the existing package. The second entry displays the following phases. When the second entry is “Done,” the first entry is cleared.

Status

Current status during job execution

  • Undefined

  • Active - Phase executing successfully

  • Reboot - Computer rebooting

  • Error - Phase has failed

Action

One of the following job types:

  • Install

  • Remove

  • Update

Drive

The drive letter of the target drive.

Date

The date the job has been executed. Prior to execution, the field is undefined unless you entered a date in the Manage Packages: Choose Drive and Date dialog box.

Package Type

One of the following package types:

  • Application

  • Configuration

  • Action

  • System

  • Internal

Package ID

The short name for the package

Revision

 

The version of the package's config.swp file.
