Reboot Setting for Pre-OS Errors

In some situations with high network load, the CCM Pre-OS Agent may lose its communication with the CCM server resulting in an error state during the execution of a Pre-OS package. A Pre-OS job can include such tasks as building a new computer, updating the CCM Windows Agent, or executing a BIOS flash utility.

The CCM mcontrol.ini file allocates the amount of time for the computer to automatically reboot after such an error. The default setting is 30 minutes. Depending on your network environment, to expedite job execution when there are numerous failures, you may want to reduce the time for automatic reboot.
