After you find computers based on general group membership, specific group membership, or package distribution, you can create a permanent group from the results of the search.
To create a new group based on the search results:
In the Search Results window, right-click searchresults<#>, and select Make Permanent.
Click Yes to change the name and description of the new group.
In the New Computer Group dialog box, type the name (required) and description (optional) of the new group.
Click OK.
The new computer group is added to the CCM server and appears in the Scope pane and Result pane.
