iSCSI Boot installation types

The iSCSI target disks must be installed with one of the supported operating systems described in System requirements. Targets can be installed using any of the following methods in conjunction with the operating system distribution files:

The iSCSI boot target drives are installed using the bnx2 driver that is delivered with the Linux distribution using the installation tree that can be provided by either CD/DVD or NFS/PXE.

After the installation completes, reboot the system for an iSCSI boot to occur.
