Logging Event Details to the Event Log

This script logs an event to the Windows event log. Event details such as event message, event type and event category are logged.

Description
This script should be run through a host application that supports VBScript, like the Windows Scripting Host or Internet Explorer. This script reads details of the event from the user and logs these details to the Windows event log. There is no output for this script.
