Getting Started

This section of the help familiarizes you with the capabilities of DirectScript. It shows you how to optimally use these capabilities in exploring and managing attributes of domains, groups, users, computers, printers, and services in your network. It further explains how you can create or redefine trust relationships between various domains in your network.

If you want to experiment with the objects, interfaces, and functions provided by DirectScript, we recommend you try your examples on an isolated network of computers where you can create dummy groups and users, control their properties, control their access rights, and so on before writing scripts for your operational network.
